I have not written much this year, there are a few blogs that I write on – or better said used to write on. It’s not that I don’t have anything to say, I have too much to say about the abuse of citizens by their own governments during the last few years – all in service of the minority, but I have not wanted to get into it and to a certain extent I have just wanted to ignore it all and get on with my insular little life.
It has been an interesting last few years. We have got rid of the two maniacs Gordon Brown and Tony Blair, the thief Irish Prime minister Bertie Ahern, the war criminal Bush – and I thought life was in some way going to get better.
There is a new government in Ireland – they are doing exactly the same as the last government. So with their first 100 days in office they have managed to prove that they will be liars all the way to the ballot box just the same as the last lying cheating last crowd.
But really, they campaigned on promises that have all been broken already, quite amazing really. Enda Kenny, the primary school teacher, is a coward. Here is someone whose biggest aim in life was to be a primary school teacher and the people of Ireland have just trusted him with their country, you do get who you vote for, I would have thought that the people of Ireland would know this by now, after the last bunch of thieves they voted in.
In the US politics looked like it was going to get a new lease of life when Obama won. What an almighty disappointment he has been. Even though I am a Brit I am campaigning against him already – a bit of a wanker he is, all talk and no action.
In the UK David is actually managing to come across as a good old fashioned caring conservative – long may this continue. The LibDs however are another joke, how can they ever be trusted again? I don’t think it is possible – to sign a document before an election saying you will not do something then doing that thing is fairly hard even for a politician to justify.
By the time the last Labour Government left office the government was accounting for 53% of the economic activity in the UK. Yes, you read that right, for some time the government was cooking the books and living further into overdraft – and this was during the good times, so nothing was being tucked away for the future not so great times.
There had to be some levelling off of this. For that read reductions in jobs in the public sector. However now everyone is going to blame the current government and not the last one who did their best to buy people off with low quality/ low paid jobs that did not exist without government money – and jobs that there was no real need for anyway.
Hopefully this little bit will get me started again.
