Came across something recently on VAT. I had no idea that it was possible to reclaim European VAT if it is paid for one country to another, so essentially outside of your own country. Now before you get your hopes up it is only for businesses. As I do pay VAT for services in Ireland, and in the UK, and sometimes in other countries something worth looking at.
