Hola,
2 years ago in May I walked the Camino frances starting in SJPdP, of my 29 days walking I had
about 19 days of rain, which was a bit unfortunate at the time, but did not take anything away
from the experience, spritual and otherwise.....ever since I'm dreaming and thinking of my next Camino !
As I live in Sydney Australia, the logistics are not as easy as for someone who lives in Europe.
But now I'm in the planning stage of my next camino....the ''del Norte".
I want to start relativley early next year, best about mid-April. Just reading on the csj.org.uk website,
weatherwise it's recommended late May to early October. As well, I heard some refugios don't open
until May??? Is early to mid April a good option ??
Please, who can share their past experience of the "del Norte" with me.
How does Semana santa (Easter) affect the refugios etc???
I'm happy to share my detailed experience of my first Camino, the "Frances"in 2008....one of my
greatest experiences !!
Cheers from sunny Sydney
Bem
