Oh yes!!
There are pilgrims on the Camino Frances all year round, but the numbers start building up from March through Easter and get fairly manic in June through August.![]()
Last year pilgrims had a mild March at the start of their camino but by the end of March winter returned full force! You could have sunshine all the way or you could be snowed in after leaving Ponferrada! You will certainly have a white out on O Cebreiro. Last year pilgrims were rescued from Triacastela. There will be lots of pilgrims on the Camino Frances but not the huge crowds that will come later in the spring.
