Hello Caminantes,
I'm wondering how to access money on the camino. Are ATMs in every town, or should I take cash? Do most places accept credit cards?

Hi Wendy,
There are ATMs in most towns but not in the smaller villages or hamlets - and these small places rarely accept credit cards. Take about 500 euro in Cash. Put the rest of your money into a Cash Passport that you can use as a credit card or to withdraw cash from. Remember, you can't use it for car hire as it is not personalised.
