When to go to Camino France?

Hi, this will be my first camino. I am planning to start on 25th of September 2010 and end at the end of October. Is this good time in the terms of weather and availability of sleeping places?

This year will be my second trip down the Camino Frances starting in early September. The last time was three years ago and the weather was brilliant, with clear blue skies most days and not too hot. Once all the schools and universities have gone back at the beginning of September the trail is much quieter than in June-Sept so finding a bed will be no problem for you.

You will however need a warm fleece to wear especially in the mornings as it can be a little chilly at dawn when I start walking.
