Taking a taxi from Santiago to Sarria

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone could give me some information regarding taxi's? I'm flying into Santiago at 7:30pm and want to get to Sarria that evening so I can be on the trail the next day. I only have six days so I don't want to waste one staying overnight in Santiago and catching the bus the next day. The bus for Lugo leaves at 8pm so I don't think I'll have enough time to catch it So even though it's going to be expensive!! I've opted for the taxi. But does anyone know, will it be easy to just catch a cab at the airport, will they be willing to go that far, and will it be safe?? I'm assuming yes to these questions but any input would make me feel so much better! There is a travel agency in Santiago where I can pay for a taxi online ahead of time, and they will be waiting for me at the airport, maybe this is a good idea??
Any information will be so appreciated! I can't wait to go!!

Hi Kerri ~
I think you're smart to plan an advance taxi reservation rather than trust your luck with a taxi at the airport. The taxis are safe, but who knows if a particular taxi driver will want to drive the 114 kms to Sarria and back? Too bad you don't have an extra day so you can save the $s.
