Hi,
I'm walking from St Jeandp from 2nd Oct and eventually winding up in SDCompostela Tues 26 Oct.
I can't carry my laptop to download my video from my Canon 7D.
Does anyone know where along the way I can download my huge files? As the computers should be PC, will they have inbuilt software to download and then burn onto DVD?

Very few of the PC's in albergues have the DVD burning capability you are looking for, but the internet cafe's in the larger cities probably will have. Make sure you take the USB lead with you to do any transfer!

Yep, Covey's right. The PC's in albergues are basically for e-mail and Internet and are useless for something as hardware-driven as burning a DVD. A couple of alternatives include a) stocking up on memory cards. They seem to average about $25/gig, which is a pretty decent price/size combo, or b) purchasing something like an iPad (0.68kg), which has a camera connector allowing you to download files directly onto its 16 or 32GB flash drive. The nice thing about this option is that you can see your images on the iPad's great screen and delete the ones you don't want, saving disk space.
