Default New to the Camino - Starting in Brussels?

    Hello!

I will be graduating from university in a few weeks and with no plans that require immediate attention, very much want to walk the Camino de Santiago. However, I am hoping to start the trail in Brussels
(following this map to Amiens, Paris etc).

This is because I want to do more than the walk across Spain and I am already planning on going to Brussels.

However, I have been unable to find any information about such a route besides to expect significantly less infrastructure and to bring a tent for sleeping. I was hoping some more experienced types could perhaps point me to maps/websites etc. or just give advice to help me prepare for such a long trip, especially the apparently much less popular route across France. Otherwise, I am young, healthy and more than ready to spend 2-3+ months walking!

Thanks in advance for any help!

Congrats on your plans. I'd suggest you contact Sil on this site. Her website is Amawalker and there are few online who've walked longer or know more about the long distance challenges.
