Starting the Camino Frances the second week of June.

I am starting the camino frances in the second week of June and was wondering if there was anyone interested in doing it with me?

Might be helpful if you said where and when you were planning on starting from.

In June there will be around 100 pilgrims a day starting from St Jean so you will not be short of company as you contemplate the 20km climb up to the top of the Pyrenees!!

Thanks Covey for that. Will start from St Jean Pied de Port around the 12 th of June. Would be great to hook up with other people. 100 pilgrims every day gives me a good chance Am just a little worried walking in isolated areas by myself.

No worries. You will find that there are others in the same boat the night before you start walking. Just leave out the door at the same time and you will be part of the group. You will find that all of the first time Pilgrims will want to start out together from SJPP. All have heard stories and are worried about the first day. By the time you reach Orrison or Roncesvalles you will be fast friends with several people.
