I am planning to walk this route in 8 days; is it possible?

You should do it ok going by all the info i have read.
Think we might change our minds and do the Portuguese Camino as we are coming from Lisbon.
Going by reports it is not as busy so its easier to get a place to lay your head.
Whatever way you choose I am sure you will enjoy it.
Must say i am looking forward to September very much.
