Hostels open?

Hi everyone!

I'm planning to start walking camino francés in the middle of april. I wonder if anyone knows if the hostels are open during that time of the year? I got confused because I read a blog that said that the hostels are only open june-october...

In April you will have no problem almost all the hostels will be open, it is the start of the season but can still be busy enough.

Thanks Leslie for your answer! Is there any idea in trying to do the hostel-booking before the walk? Do you know if the hostels often are full?
