Anyone had experience of the trains running from Bayonne to SJPDP in October? Flights are booked and I'm eager to get to the start point the same day for an early start the next. The timetables aren't up yet (that I can find) but wondered if they ran with the same frequency as the summer months. any indication of whether I could get something around 1800 hours? Then that just leaves me looking for a cheap hotel with bike storage (just to ensure a first night stopover you understand!)

Also anyone with any experience of these trains..... I'm doing the route by bike and if time allows would just build it at the airport and ride to the train. Any benefits to carrying the bike as a parcel, taking the bus then building it at SJPDP? Will the trains have areas for fully built bikes?

I'm loving the forum and have learnt so much from you guys already. did the Primitivo/Norte route a few years ago and have the bug...... These are just niggly bits I normally wouldnt concern myself with but with this wealth of knowledge at hand I'd be daft not to ask......
