Tent and maps?

Hey guys,

Would you recommend carrying a tent along the camino?

Are topographical maps necessary, or is the path well marked? Would you recommend carrying them anyway?

Please, please it does not take any tent, it does not need it and weigh much. -

There are many shelters

I agree no tent required and you will hate carrying it aftera while - there are loads of hostels and they are fairly cheap.

Map not required either on the Camino Frances - it is very well marked.
