Mena: if you are starting from any main point such as Arles / St Jean / Le Puy / Pamplona you will find you can obtain your Pilgrim Passport there... any tourist info will direct you. Sometimes hostels have them available en route. A few years ago I saw one guy who had made his own & had it stamped each night... at the end of the day all they are are a piece of paper with 'little boxes' for the stamp. The passport issued from The Confraternity of St James is quite large and like a thin 'book' with extra leaves of paper available if you're walking from le Puy. I saw some Irish folk last year with a 'Passport' from The Irish Society of the Friends of St James... & it was pretty... & a much smaller 'book' than the CSJ one... you can always Google either of the above & obtain passports from them if you have sufficient time. But for the most part people have the folded paper passports which are obtained at the start of the main sections.

you are such a gift..
Thank you...I went on some sites here in France and it seemed you needed a letter of recomendation or belong to some fraternity.

The wedding cakes are lookin' good! Currently bathed in French Brandy whilst they mature! Thanks for asking. Glad to be of help. I remember how I felt before I'd embarked on my first stage... you feel so at sea and I didn't know any others who'd walked the Chemin. Regards, Annie
