I am hoping to spend 7 days walking the camino in July, I would like to finish in Santiago. I'm not sure where to start. Is 7 days enough time to get from Ponferrada to Santiago? I am 30 years old and have a good level of fitness. Also I have some concerns about travelling alone ( I am female) but I suppose if it's very busy at this time then it is safe?

My final query for the moment is,how difficult is it to get a bed in an albergue in July, will most allow you to sleep on the floor if there are no beds left?
