What is the nearest airport to Saint Jean

I'm traveling from the U.S. and would like to begin the Camino in Saint Jean. What airport (in either Spain or France) would provide the easiest access to the Saint Jean?

Probably Biarritz. You can get a bus outside airport to Bayonne then train to St Jean. Good thing is that it is a well travelled route. You won't be alone.
