Having made a film myself about my journey along the Camino, I am interested to know what other films have been made?
What films did people like?

Hi Mark,
I've seen the short version of your film and think it is excellent.
I have got a dozen or so camino DVD's plus a short ptromotional DVD called 'The Road to Santiago' which was released in 1999 for the Holy Year.
The only DVDs that are similar to yours are those by Sue Kenney and Paul Tobey. The others are all professional films that come in different languages or sub-titles.
Within the Way Without - narrator Sir Richard Attenborough
The Camino is not a bed of Roses by Jose Alvarez
Las Peregrinas by Sue Kenny
Oh Ye of Little Faith by Paul Tobey
El Camino Hacia La Meta by theXunta de Galicia
Welcome by Jose Alvarez (about the refuges and hospitaleros)
Camino de Santiago by Everest (Spanish)
The Naked Pilgrim - Brian Sewell
El Camino de Santiago - Xunta (A cartoon telling the story of St James and Santiago)
St Jacques Le Merque - French with English sub-titles.
I also have a DVD on Santiago:
Santiago de Compostela: Art and History
A German/Austrian Camino movie ?I?ll take you to the end of the world? (similar to the St Jacques le Merque film) was recently completed at Finisterra. Directed by the Austrian director Zhristinb Kabish it deals with a father and daughter who begin their pilgrimage to Santiago in Salamanca and through it find their true personalities and the core of their relationship with one another.
The Sheens - Martin & Emilio (Estevez) are making a movie called 'The Way'. Will be nice to see that one when it is released.
I have read so many books on various Caminos and walked in Spain two diferent ones - a little in Poland and a little in Austria - but I still have not see any film on the Camino. Strange this should never come across my path - I will have to have a look out.
Thanks
Why do I keep walking when driving is faster?

I'd also suggest The Surgeon and the Saint, a new film about an American surgeon who decides to walk the Camino in search of a miracle. You can find it at www.thesurgeonandthesaint.com
