How to add avatar

When I go to edit avatar, it say "no avatar specified" and the "do not use avatar" option is checked in the circle and cannot be un-checked. How do I specify the avatar I want to upload from my comp, and how do I indicate that I do want to use an avatar?Could anybody solve this mystery? thanks

Hi, I think it is blocked till you have 4 or more posted. To stop spam all new member posts are moderated until they have posted 3 posts, after that the forum software treats them differently.

I have never been able to add a "signature" in this forum. No problem with avatar. I add the signature..it shows up on the edit page and on the profile page but never shows up in forum. Is there a secret to this? (the show your signature box is ticked)
