Oh ... my.

This is so beautiful, I have tears in my eyes.

I work in a large botanic garden in Chicago, and I'm always surprised when people express how beautiful our garden is during the winter. Of course it is! Winter has its own stately beauty that has nothing to do with the landscape being lush and verdent.

Anyone who has the stamina and courage to walk the path during this time of year has my admiration - and my envy.
