hi all!

i'm new to the site. a girlfriend of mine and i just graduated from university in the states so we thought it would be a perfect time to do the camino; we also were hoping to do some traveling after as well. seeing as our hiking gear probably wont be appropriate in the cities in october we would be in need of some new clothes. i've read that you can send packages to the post office in santiago and they will hold it there for a short while. has anyone done this? do you think it was worth the hassle or should i just plan to buy some new threads at the end of the walk? any suggestions would be great!
