Hi! Bindhi and eila, i´m planning to do the walk from 20th august to 30th aproximately...I´m a spaniard 47 years old male from Seville (southerm Spain) and it could be great for me to gather there for a while..My intention now is goin to the Notrh walk wich is cooler than the frances and hopefully not so full of people but i´m open to other alternatives...

I still haven't bought my plane tickets...but want to soon so that I can make this trip official! I'm hoping to leave in early August, around the 3rd, 4th or 5th. What were you thinking about departure date? I'd definitely like to talk more about this off the forum, but I'm not so comfortable posting my email address publicly. Are you on facebook? I could search you and send a friend request. I too am super excited to walk el camino.

I want to do the walk in September or October, but really hesitant to do it alone, although I will if i have to> but it seems there a lot of people in my situation> i would love to have a few people to know, maybe meet in teh city, get on the train together, and possibly plan, discuss everything over email in the next two months. We're starting from SJPDP on August 31st. Made only two reservations: 30/8 in SJDPP at the L'Esprit du Chemin albergue and 31/8 in Orisson at the Refuge-Albergue Orisson. We hope to finish on/about October 28th. Look for seniors aged 64 and 62.
