    Default Walking for 7 days

    Hello,

I only have a limited time to walk a little piece of the Santiago de Compestela, about 7 days as a holiday from work. Hopefully I will go for longer on another trip.
Is it generally possible to catch a bus from each village at the end of where ever I get to, to start the journey back to the airport? I think maybe I'd fly to Madrid. I'd like to walk in the Castilla region and maybe start from Burgos, but am quite flexible. If anyone has any adivse that'd be great.

    Many Thanks
    Kim

Burgos to Leon is my favorite part, but as an introduction to the Camino, might be a little daunting.

How about Logrono to Burgos? Greener countryside than Burgos to Leon and easier to get the bus to and from Madrid.

    Hi Covey and PacoB,

Thank you for your replies to my thread.
I'll look into the Longrono to Burgos walk, is it easier to fly to Santader and Valladoid (something like that- spelling wrong!) and bus from there as well to the start?

PacoB- I'm actually thinking of walking in May, but if you can go then, we should talk further.

    Thanks
    Kim

We walked for 7 days from Pamplona to Logrono. It was very pretty with a variety of different terrain. Nice Auberg's and interesting little towns. We had two young children so we were only walking 18km's a day with one day of 13km and one of 11kms.

    Would highly recommend this leg...
