Default Best time of the day

    Hi,

I will be arriving in St jean at approx 9:30 in the morning on May 14 and I won't be setting off for Roncesvalles until around lunch time. Is it okay to walk at that time of day???

I don't think the Pilgrim Office opens until 10am so with a bit of luck you will be on the road at 10.30. You have plenty of time to get to Roncesvalles and should be there around 5pm. In May there will not be the numbers walking like there are in July/Aug, so a bed will not be a problem..

Pay attention to what the Pilgrim Office says about the weather going over the top. With luck you will have a clear day and the spectacular views. If the weather is not so good, take the lower "bad weather route"
