    Default Bathers

Is there a need to bring bathers? A few people have suggested that I bring bathers in cases where there are no doors in the showers?

Just wondering what the general consensus is?

    Thanks

Take a sarong for the shower door, bed sheet, nightclub LBD etc. Always take a cozzy because thats what you sunbathe in!!

Nightclub LBD? Cozzy? Bathers? You Brits need to learn how to speak English. :-) Can you translate for an American?

Nightclub LBD = Little Black Dress for nightclub use. Refers to the fact that the Sarong for ladies is a multi use tool!

Cozzy is slang English/Australian for swimming costume. Bathers had me stumped, but I assume it meant a Cozzy!!

    Thanks Covey.

I wanted to keep the language generic as I was conscious of the global audience of the forum so tried to steer away from the aussie slang. Decided that bathers would be the best bet. Guess I was wrong. Should have gone for swimming costume.

Thanks for the tip on the sarong as well. A friend told me to bring that but hadn't seen it on any of the packing list but neither was cozzies. Am glad I have these confirmed.

Leaving to London tomorrow...excitement is certainly building up!

Quite a number of ladies carry a sarong and because it has so many different uses, it is well worth the weight.

Not sure how much time you have in London, but if you suddenly remember you need anything, all the major walking kit companies have shops in Covent Garden which is very near Trafalgar Square. For some reason they are all within 100m of each other which is convenient.
