Post 12 day camino...where to fly out of?

    Hi

I'm beginning one part of the camino on the 26th July but only have the time to do 12 days on this run. I will start in St Jean Pied de Port and walk for 12 days and would like to fly to London for the 8th August. Would anybody be able to tell me which town/village to finish in and which airport (Valladolid or Bilbao) would be the most convinient?

Lastly, any information about the weather would be great. I'm assuming it's quite dry at the moment?

Any information would be greatly appreciated. Am very much looking forward to this personal adventure.

    Cheers

    Greg

I walked my Camiino last in starting on the 22nd of May, I some of the people I met only had 2 weeks to walk so they finished in Burgos, this was done in 12 days. One of them took the bus back to Germany (sounded like a nightmare trip when I spoke to them later) and another took the bus to Bilbao for a flight, so from what I learned in that regard I recommend Bilbao

Here is the break down on the days and from where to where to go.
Day 1 St Jean to Roncevalles, Day 2 Roncevalles to Zubriri or Larrasoana, Day 3 Larrasoana to Pamplona, Day 4 Pamplona to Puente de la Reina, Day 5 Puente de la Reina to Estella,Day 6 Estella to Torres del Rio,Day 7 Torres del Rio to Logrono, Day 8 Logrono to Najera, Day 9, Najera to Santo Dominogo de la Calzada, Day 10 Santo Domingo to Belorado, Day 11 Belorado to San Juan de Ortega, Day 12 San Juan de Ortega to Burgos.

As far as the weather was concerned this part was warm and luckily for me no rain, I didn't experience that till a couple of weeks later From Berclanos del Camino thought Leon until Astorga.

Brilliant. Thank you for the information. Muchly appreciated. I have booked a flight from Bilboa to London upon your advise.
