    Cool Just finished Camino

    Hi All,
I finished the Camino last week. Even though it was very busy, at no time were we unable to find accomodation. The only hard place was O´Cebreiro. Had to take a double room for 48 euros. In Santiago when you validate your Compostella, there are people there offering twin rooms for 15 euro per person , very close to the cathedral and with a lock on door, share facilities. If you walk down past the Compostella office you come to a small fruit shop on the right. The lady and her husband speak english and will help you find a room. Buen Camino to all of you

Congratulations! And thanks for the inside on accommodations. If you were able to find space in July, I should do well in September.

    Hello Maya2,
September should be fine for accomodation. Remember to pack warm clothes and raingear, I had an Altus Atmosferic (fantastic raincoat). I t was chilly and raiing a few times.
All the best for your Camino,
    Tanya

I just finished the Camino last week & now back in the land of reality..... missing my Camino families

I too had no problems with Accomodation & regularly used the Private Albergues which were of a surprisingly high standard

Bed bug issues were in Rligious (after Leon) & Villa Franca (3 level bunks)

Also stay away from the Albergue in Buente.... people there are very ugly & should not be in the Camino/Pilgrim industry (guess u always get one) they held my wifes sticks as hostage until they got a Euro for the toilet.

But overall was a brilliant experience & many thanks to this site for the information & background it provided
