Where to start?

hi all! Greeting from down under

Ths is great website& forum here with plentyful information & ideas!..many many thanks.

Just 3 more months for my Euro trip & am very excited especially on "Santiago de Compostela" walk.

Need some advise though;
We have only allocated 4 days for this walk to Santigo so we're planning to drive/train to someplace "X" from Barcelona and then start our walk from there.
Any recommendation for 3 days walking at moderate speed, where be a good starting point?

Pamplona, Leon, or Burgos - all easy to get to.

Sarria is just over 100kms from Santiago. You get there via bus from Lugo
