Im starting my pilgrimage mid-march from Lyon to Santiago and am very much looking forward to it. I have also now decided to take a day or two out to visit Lourdes on route. What I would like to know if possible is the best place to leave the GR65 and get a bus or coach to Lourdes ' assuming this is an option' and back again to rejoin the route where I left it or nearby.
I feel that it is definately something that I want to do and having travelled from Outer Hebrides it is worth the detour. Any information is appreciated , bus routes / times / numbers / operaters etc and or any footpath info. Thanks and happy new year all.
