Starting from Logrono April

Due to time restrictions, I will be starting the Camino from Logrono on 3rd April and hope to make Santiago by 28th April. Does anyone know if it is possible to get a Pilgrim Passport in Logrono? I fly into Bilbao from the UK and will travel by train to Logrono. Any idea what average daytime / evening temperature will be? Having the boot / shoe debate in my head but suspect boot preferable in April in case its very wet!

Any advice appreciated.

Logrono is probably my favorite place on the Camino, and you can get your Pilgrim Passport at the main albergue which is about 100m from the main square. Evening temperatures in April will be chilly so take a fleece and gloves. Daytime temperatures can be almost anything, but walking 20-30kms will keep you warm!!

Boots are a good idea in April!

Thank you for this advice. I arrive in Logrono on a Sunday, do you know if I will need to wait until the Monday to get my passport and can I stay in the albergue without a passport?

The guys at the desk in the albergue will issue you with a passport if you need one. You must have a Pilgrim Passport to stay in an Albergue as that is the law!
