I am staying near Santiago de Compostella for 1 week, 05 - 12 August 2011. i would like to walk part of the route during that week. I deally I would like to get public transport from Santiago to some location (approx. 15km from SDC) and then walk back. Ideally with a lunch location en route!

also, on another day/days drive to some other point on the camino (point A), park, walk to point B (approx. 15 km)(ideally stopping for lunch), then catch public transport back to point A and drive back to our holiday accomodation.

Does anyone have any advice on suitable locations, public transport info?

I will be walking with my wife and a friend.
