Re Alternative Camino routes
Hi there,
I have just completed the Camino Frances. Was fantastic experience, worth every step. Thinking about going again but considering an alternative route, maybe the Camino Portugal or the 'Original Route'. Anyone out there who has competed either and any advice? Also, just curious about whether or not you receive Compestala on competion of any of the routes or is it just for Camino Frances?
Thanks
Katie

Re: Re Alternative Camino routes
Never heard of "The Original Route." It'd be fun to find out what that one is (I'm guessing the Camino del Norte, but who's to say that one's the original?). Yes, the Compostela is for pilgrims on every route. Covey's doing Camino Portuguese this year. Between the regulars on this Forum I'm sure we have each route covered. What specifically are you wanting to know?

Re: Re Alternative Camino routes
My copy of Brierleys Guide to The Camino Portuguese is sitting on my desk beside me as I type this.
I must remember to read it before I go!!
