Question First times- have about 10 days or more

I am a well-traveled "global citizen". Have been to 25 countries sola and lived in Spain for several years. I will be visiting a friend near Toulouse early/mid Sept and would like to walk the most beautiful, serene, contemplative (green?) areas of the camino beginning the latter part of Sept for approximately 10 or more (?) days

I have been everywhere in Spain (by train/car) in the past including Santiago Compostela. I am a writer/educator at yet another turning point in life : and look forward to receiving inspiration on the Camino and meeting fellow pilgrams

SO, where would the best place be to begin/end, given above. .

Thank you! See you on the camino.

Any where - I know that answer is not much help, but just getting there and walking is the important part, so which part is easiest to get to?

But with ten days - start near the beginning, St Jean or my fav Pamplona.

    Hi Coachshera,

Don't know when you are starting out on your journey, but I would suggest you begin your journey at St. Jean Pied de Port. It can be a tough journey over the Pyrenees, but there is great joy in reaching Roncevalles after the long journey. Also to stay in what was the old medieval hospital, attached to the monastery, and be awoken to the gentle sound of angelic music before dawn.... has to be experienced.... it will always be remembered.

As regards the question of where you should end your journey.....it doesn't really matter......your journey, especially during the time you are on the Camino is more important than your destination..... And when you head for home I hope that the journey will continue and be with you everyday.

    Buen Camino
