Hi antonian, yes it is all a bit doom and gloom here just now - though there seems to be little difference in daily life.
Best of luck with your camino and I hope you enjoy it. What route are you doing? Cycling? Are you writing about it anywhere?

I'm back on the Camino Frances as this time of year accommodation is tricky on the other routes. Also, It's nice to meet others along the way and the other routes are all but abandoned in the winter. I'm walking from St. Jean Pied de Port hoping to make SdC by December 12th.
There are probably enough camino blogs out there without adding my ramblings but I will post here as I go with any major developments.
