A lot of questions

hi! i'm from Hong Kong and i'm planning to have my trip in May. Here are some questions i want to ask.

1)Will it e suitable to walk in May and how's the weather? i'm really afraid of rainy days.

2)i only have 3 weeks in total, that's i think i'll only walk for 16-17 days. i want to end my trip at Finisterre but i don't know where should i start my trip. Can anyone tell how should i plan my trip and arrange the transportations? (i also want to have 2 days "holiday" before i back to HK)
how much time is needed to travel from Finisterre to the nearest international airport ? which airport should i fly to start my trip?

i know very little about Camino de Santiago but i'm very interested in it. sorry for my poor english and asking lots of questions.

If you are flying from Hong Kong you will probably arrive in Spain at Madrid.

I would suggest that you start walking at Leon and on to Santiago which should take you 10-11 days. Santiago to Finesterre can either be walked (3 days) or go by bus (1 day) This still gives you a couple of days in hand.

There are fast express coach services from Madrid to Leon. You can get your Pilgrim Passport at the official albergue in Leon.

You will need to get the bus from Finesterre back to Santiago and then either train or bus down to Madrid for your homeward journey.

As to the rain in May? That is in the hands of the Big Man In The Sky. Rain is something the Pilgrim does not worry about too much. If it rains, you walk, if it does not rain, you walk! Such is life.
