Camino in May

I am starting in may from St Jean and am starting to panic!
Is it easy to get to St Jean from Biaritz with no French? and when you get to St Jean how do you find the first alberge, what time does it close?
How do you register? is the office open every day? should i register when i arrive or wait until the mornign? As i will be on my own, will it all become clear?? Thanks for any help (I think i will be okay when i get going...!)

Worry not!!

When you arrive at Bairritz Airport there is an information desk in the public area and they will direct you to the bus stop outside the terminal building and tell you the time of the next bus to Bayonne Station.

At Bayonne Station you catch the Ter-SNCF train to St Jean.

When you get to St Jean, follow all the other travellers wearing boots baggy trousers and carrying a pack, and walk up the hill to the Pilgrim Office where you collect your Pilgrim Passport. They will tell you where all the albergues are and you then wander off to grab a bed for the night.

At 0730 in the morning, put on your boots, strap on your pack, and start on the adventure of a lifetime.
