    Default Learning Spanish

    Hi,

One of my motivations to walk the Camino would be to improve my Spanish a little. Would that be a good idea, or is the Camino just crowded by English- and German-speakers?

    Muchas gracias

    Default Spanish

    Hi Lie

The Camino is a great place to improve your Spanish - if you already have a basic knowledge. There are loads of Spanish speakers (especially in summer) and most of them don't speak English. You have to make the effort to come into contact with them though because they tend to stick together, but if you make the effort with their language they're very friendly.
