Question Charging my Itouch and camera battery.

I have an ITOUCH and a Canon Powershot camera. I want to take them but need to know the type of power adaptor I need for my journey. Has anyone taken these items with them on their trip?

I am from St. John's Newfoundland Canada and will be traveling alone from St. John on July 13th or 14th. WOndering if anyone else is starting then?

It is a two prong adaptor but it is not the same as the US/Can ones. It is 240 volts, I did not find it easy to find one in Spain as the Camino route is far away from the main tourist routes.

You might get one in the airport.

Thanks so much for the info. I guess I will pick up a power adaptor here in Newfoundland before I go. I am familiar with the 2 prong adaptor.
    Thanks again.

Probably the best thing you can buy is the "universal adapter plug set" which you can get in airports.

The Spanish plugs are round with two round prongs in the middle and are 220/240 volt. There are other European two pin plugs but they have flat prongs, and some places like Switzerland have three pin flat prong plugs!

    Default power

yeah you should be fine with just the prong converter, you won't need the whole voltage converter b/c looking at my canon charger, it says that the input is rated from 100-240 volts, so that covers spanish power outlets.

    buen camino!
