Sleeping bags and other essentials
Hi, my wife and I will be doing the last portion of the walk from sarria to santiago mid september and we are not sure whether we should bring sleeping bags, pillow cases, towels, etc. Any advice would be appreciated. We are hoping to obtain our credentials at santiago first then catch a couple of buses to get to sarria, is it as easy as that to get to sarria? Thanks. Rosco

There is a short packing list here Packing for the Camino de Santiago - Packing Tips
But yes to all the above, but try and keep it light.

Sarria to Santiago is so great. If you are going to be kind to your wife, stay in the Pensions. Maybe cost you 30-euro per night. Gets you your own room with a private bathroom, linens, towels, etc. Leaves the 3-euro per-night accomodations for the young and the restless (and those immune to the sounds of snoring and 5:00am zipping and velcro fastening)
It's going to leave you wanting more!
