Default First time family trip 92 year old man and baby bad idea?

OK, so my wife is pregnant, almost 5 months now and my dad is 92, but in very good shape. While reading the intro page it says that the Camino is for all ages and for the fit and unfit (I'm paraphrasing). I'll be planning this trip (and saving for it) for about a year and a half so the baby will be born and my dad will be 93.

If it is possible, what are some of the challenges? Where does one stay on the way? Where would be the best place to start? if I do start in the traditional Frances starting point how long would the trip take us? What will be the cost in food and hotel stays?

    I'll appreciate any input. Thanks!
