    Hi Meloje
Keep me posted on any other info you might come across! I was tempted to walk "Via de la Plata" this winter, but have decided to walk el Camino "Frances" instead. I walked this route in the summer of 06 -- think that a wintery (November/December?) walk might be in order!
    Keep us updated!

Hi Meloje, I don't know if you've already gone, but the main thing I'd be concerned about is walking in the snow and rain in the mountains. I had a good fall or two, slipping on rocks in the Pyrenees and on O Cebreiro, because the rocks are slick and wet in the rain. Also, someone I spoke with said that when it snowed on the Cruz de Ferro, he almost got lost, because you couldn't see the trail or the markers. It only snowed a bit on the Cruz de Ferro hill when I was there, but that is the only warning I'd give you.
