    Default Accommodation on the Camino

Not being in the first flush of youth, and needing a whole lot of beauty sleep, I am nervous of the pilgrim hostels. Please can anyone advise about the legitimacy in pilgrim terms of:

    a. using a caravan or campervan (driven by wife on a back-up basis) just for night accommodation; or

    b. using hotel or B&B accommodation, just for night accommodation?

And, if using these would not invalidate the pilgrimage, has anyone any experience or advice along these lines, please?

I think if you walk/ cycle the route it does not matter where you sleep. Just remember to get your pilgrims passport stamped each day somewhere - many places like bars can do this. Many people do walk and stay in B&b's, but also many pilgrims of all ages stay in the pilgrim hostels.

Thank you. This is reassuring. Does anyone have experience of using caravan/capervan sites, or of finding B&Bs on the route, please?
