    Red face Travelling with kids

We want to walk part of the route (not enough time for all of it) has anyone got experince of taking kids, are they welcome in the hostels? Also anyone left a car in Santiago then got public transport back along the route to their start point (we have about 7 days max so i'm thinking 150km). I'm wondering if it would be better one of us drive the car with camp gear instead if getting accomodation isn't possible on a relatively tight budget - can't run to 4 star hotels and a quick trawl through hotels in the area shows many cheaper ones not accepting kids under 18 - I just can't find any references to kids anywhere.

    anniehm -

Check out this thread under General Chat "Newbie Irish Family first Camino- all sorts of questions". Cahnclan may have some valuable tips they are willing to share.

    Have fun !
