Default Is there a minimum age restriction?

Hi. Does anyone know if there is a minimum age restriction for the Camino Frances? I really want to do it but I'm seventeen and i dunno if there are any technicalities involved that might stop me. And would you recommend doing the walk if you were my age?

No age restrictions. Anyone can walk it. You might not be allowed to buy alcohol in the bars but otherwise you'll have no problems. Families with babies and little children walk the camino. The only other retriction is awarding the Compostela (certificate of completion) to children under a certain age who have not yet had their first communion).
Go, enjoy, have a ball. But, be a good pilgrim - respect others, give a donation at donativo refuges, don't litter, recpect the curfews otherwise you'll be locked out at night!

This summer I did Camino from St. Jean to Santiago the Compostela with my 13 yr. old daughter. She loved it and would go back and do it again now if she could.

I WISH I had gone when I was seventeen! Best of luck to you on your journey.
