I stayed in this albergue a few weeks ago and loved it. There are sheets and blankets on the beds, towels are provided, the staff are friendly and helpful and it's very clean. The only thing I didn't care for is that the showers are all in one big room (no cubicles and thus no privacy). When I was there though, the place was pretty empty and I had the shower room all to myself.

It's about time there were better facilities on the Way to Finesterre, as it always seemed to be slightly neglected. A lot more Pilgrims are making their way to Finesterre although I suspect that about 50% do so by bus.

Last year a local taxi firm was running a service from the albergues to Santiago bus station. He was charging the same fare as the bus but the journey time was only 1 hour instead of the nearly three hours on the bus.

Santiago to Finisterre is mostly boring by comparison to the rest of the camino - take the bus and relax - or even a cab! Finisterre is a great village
