If you only have 12 days...where do you start?

We only have an actual 12 days on the Camino. How would it best be spent. Some say start an Leon...some say start at Sarria. Some say start in St Jean and go as far as you can. We are starting on September 29th. Any and all thoughts are welcome.

My fav part is from Pamplona to Leon - I am not in the majority! I love the mesita, the wide open space does it for me.

I might be starting from astorga. and I am planning 10 days tops!!
It is a little tricky knowing how much time it will take, and not having to rush. But I feel it can be done in 10 days from Astorga to Santiago.
I am still in the process of working it all out. 12 Days is more than enough time to start from Astorga or closer if you feel you wont be going to fast. Hope that helps a little david

We did it last September....form Pomferda. it worked out well. Not too rushed. Going back this year and doing the first part of the Camino, again for 12 days....any thoughts anyone ?
