Express Bourricot
The link above might be able to help, but I seem to remember that the taxi stand at Bairritz airport charges around €60-70 for the trip which is quite expensive.

We are all pretty good on the "HOW" and we leave the "WHY" to you!

Re: Taxi from Biarritz to SJPP
2 of us arrive at Biarritz at 2.40 p.m. and we would like to share a Taxi with anyone to get to St Jean PP.
If we do the normal catch bus to Bayonne and then train to SJPP we would not get in till 7.30 p.m. and that would be a waste of daylight on the Saturday and the chance to get a passport and getting sorted for the start of the walk.

Re: Taxi from Biarritz to SJPP
The Pilgrim Office closes at 10pm in the summer months.
A taxi from Bairritz to St Jean will cost €60+, the bus to Bayonne Station and the train to St Jean will cost €10.

Re: Taxi from Biarritz to SJPP
Are this cost per person or is it 60 euros+ for the taxi which we could share?

Re: Taxi from Biarritz to SJPP
The €60+ is the cost "per taxi" If you can find someone to share then the cost per person is that much lower.

Re: Taxi from Biarritz to SJPP
I am arriving in Biarritz on Sunday 9 October 2011 on Air France from Paris at 12.15pm. My French isn't very good and I would feel much more comfortable travelling to StJPP either by taxi or with someone who can negotiate the transport system via bus and train. Is there anyone who would be arriving at about the same time who is interested in sharing travel?

Re: Taxi from Biarritz to SJPP
I should be arriving at Biarritz at 1515 on the 29 th August, I was also having similar concerns about not being able to get sorted out in time to be ready to go first thing the next day. So again this info has been über helpful! I guess I'll make my connection decisions at the time depending on how I'm feeling. Approximately how long does the bus/ train combo take compared to the taxi option?

Re: Taxi from Biarritz to SJPP
Looking at the bus timetable http://www.chronoplus.eu/ftp/FR_lign...re_Ligne14.pdf it's about 30 mins on the bus to the train station.
