should I fly into barcelona?

I really need some help, Should I fly into Barcelona or Madrid. I can only stay in spain for one month due to the flight restrictions. So it seems my daughter and I will be walking for about 3 weeks so where do we start. We plan on arriving in mid March until mid April , how is the weather at this time ??? Maybe should I be looking at flights to London??? any info would be greatly appreciated. Leslie

Please define "flight restrictions".

I vaguely recall some airlines once had a one month restriction for pricing their tickets for travel and, once one's stay ran over that 30 day limit of trip duration, the ticket price escalated severely. However, I believe this practice was discontinued some years ago. I have not had it effect my ticket purchases.
