Getting to Santo Domingo de la Calzada

Hi,

I walked to Santo Domingo de la Calzada from St Jean earlier this year and I am hoping to return there in September to continue my camino. My flight options are into Madrid, Santander or Bilbao. I would like to complete all my travelling in 1 day if possible and was wondering which airport would have best transport links to Santo Domingo de la Calzada.

There are good bus transfers from bilbao to santo domingo. Get a bus to haro and then change for santo domingo. Check out timetables on website Autobuses La Uni?n y Burundesa. I and 4 others are going in september from sjpp to santo domingo also. How many days did it take you

Hi,
Thanks for the link. We walked for 10 days from SJPDP to santo Domingo. We stopped in Orisson which I'd definitely recommend. We also took a rest day in Pamplona which we really enjoyed.
