Camno with starting on Great Easter in 2009

Hello Dear Friends,

Marvellous forum.
Thank you all for being here and your experiences in Camino way.

I have no such experience although I am runner in ultra-marathon and mountain hiker. But I feel pilgrimage on Camino way is something different.

I am considering to start pilgrimage on Camino way in the March 2009 on Great Easter.

I am apreciating for your experiences on weather conditions and availability of sanctuaries ( are thay open in those weeks after Great Easter ) and possibilities where I can buy little vegetable and fruit. At home I live mostly on green raw vegan food .But I am aware this time of year this food would hardly be provided.

Thanks God for any experience , hint, reference or post from you dear pilgrim coullegues.

Most of the hostels will be open - so that won't be a problem, and there are many small shops along the way - I found the availability of fruit and veg in Spain better than the UK.
